Events organized for you

Goal

When an event planner organises an event for you, they can open a space for you to follow it: how the preparation is going, who is coming, what they ask you to approve, and their quotes and invoices. You have read access — the organisation stays in their hands.

Steps

1. Your event planner sends you an invitation link (by message, text… etkivent sends no email).
2. Open it. Without an account, click Create my account and choose the Organizer profile; if you already have one, click I already have an account. Once signed in, you come back to the invitation.
3. Click Accept the invitation: your events appear in Organized for you, and at the top of your dashboard.
4. Open an event to see the countdown, the task progress, the program step by step, the guest list and their replies, and the link to the public invitation.
5. In Approvals, every choice your event planner submits to you (menu, venue, decoration…) can be approved or rejected, with a comment if you wish. They are notified.
6. In Quotes & invoices, open a quote to read it, download it as a PDF, then accept or decline it. Issued invoices are listed there too, as PDFs.
7. A question? Click Message my event planner: the conversation then continues in your Messages, and you are notified of their replies.

Frequently asked questions

The invitation link no longer works? It is valid for 14 days and can be used only once; a new link replaces the previous one. Ask your event planner for a new one.

Can I change the event? No: you follow it in read-only mode. To change something, write to your event planner, or reject the choice with a comment.

How do I pay an invoice? Directly to your event planner (bank transfer, cheque…): they then mark it paid, and you see it here.

My access disappeared? Your event planner may have removed it, or removed your card from their client book. Contact them to be invited again.
