Organiser
My account, my data, deleting my account
Download a full copy of your data and delete your account yourself, from the Profile page, whatever your role.
Updated on September 26, 2026
Goal
The My account card, at the bottom of the Profile page, lets you exercise two rights without writing to us: download a copy of your data, and permanently delete your account. This page is the same for organizers, vendors and event planners.
Steps
- Open Profile in the menu, then scroll down to the My account card.
- Download my data saves a JSON file with everything your account holds: your details and preferences, your profiles, your events (steps, tasks, guests, gifts, invitation, seating plan, templates), booking requests sent and received, your conversations, your quotes and invoices, your payments and credits, reviews written and received, your listing and public page, your clients, your resources, your external vendors, your notification devices and your sessions. You can do it again at any time. An event's guest list can also be exported as CSV from the Guests page (⋯ menu).
- Delete my account opens a confirmation: type the requested phrase on your keyboard (pasting is disabled on purpose), then your password.
- If your account was created with Google, Apple or Facebook, it has no password: deletion is only possible within 10 minutes of signing in. After that, a Sign in again button takes you back to the sign-in page; then start over.
- Read the last confirmation, then click Delete permanently. You are signed out immediately.
What is deleted, what is kept
- Erased or anonymized right away: your identity (name, email address, phone, picture), your profiles, your events with their steps, tasks, guests, gifts and invitations (RSVP links already sent stop working), your photos and public page, your clients and contacts, the messages you sent, your published reviews, your notification devices. Your booking requests still open are cancelled.
- Kept, as the law requires: quotes, invoices, payments and credit entries, for ten years. They still bear the name that appeared on the document when it was issued.
- Your Stripe account, if you had one, is no longer linked to Etkivent; Stripe keeps its own data under its own rules.
FAQ
Can I recover my account after deletion? No. Deletion is immediate and permanent. Download your data first if you want to keep a copy.
I have no password and the button asks me to sign in again. You signed in more than 10 minutes ago. Sign out, sign in again with Google, Apple or Facebook, then start the deletion over.
What do others see after my deletion? A vendor or organizer you had exchanged with sees "Compte supprimé" (deleted account) instead of your name, and your messages disappear from the conversation. Your reviews are removed from the vendor's page.
What if I change my mind before the last step? As long as you have not clicked Delete permanently, nothing is changed: simply close the window.
