My team

Add the people who work with you and invite them with a link so they can find their own space.

Goal

The My team page gathers the people who work with you: employees, extra staff, partners. You add them by name, then send them an invitation link: when they open it, they set up their access and land in their own space, which only shows what the team gives them.

Steps

  1. Open My team in the menu.
  2. Click Add a member, type their Name, then Add. Their card shows up with the Not invited status.
  3. On their card, Edit lets you fill in their Job, Email and Phone, then Save.
  4. Click Invite: an invitation link shows up, valid for 7 days. Copy copies it; WhatsApp, SMS and Email open a ready-to-send message, addressed to the member if you saved their phone or email. Their card switches to Invited.
  5. The member opens the link, sets up their access (or logs in) and clicks Join the team. Their card switches to Joined.
  6. To remove someone, open Edit on their card, then Remove from team, and confirm.

Frequently asked questions

Does etkivent send the invitation for me? No. You share the link yourself, through the channel of your choice: etkivent sends no message to your members.

The link expired or got lost: what now? Click New link on their card. The new link replaces the old one, which stops working.

What does a team member see? Only their member space: the teams they joined, the tasks you assign them (see Team tasks) and their assignments. For an event you assign them to, they see the day, the time, the address, and the client with their phone number. They see neither your other clients, nor your prices, nor your payments.

How do I put a member on an event? Open the event, click Team at the top of the page, check the members, then Save. Each checked member is notified and finds it on their Today page.

Can a member use an etkivent account they already have? Not an organizer, provider or event planner account: an account has a single role. They set up their access with another email address. A member account can, however, join several teams.

What happens when I remove a member? They lose access to your team right away, and their invitation link stops working.
