Goal
The Dashboard is the entry point of your event planner space. It gathers your portfolio: what needs your attention today (overdue tasks, quotes to review, guests who haven't replied, unread messages), your key figures, and one card per ongoing event with its client, countdown, progress and next deadline.
Steps
- Open Dashboard from the menu. If your space is still empty, click Add a client to get started.
- At the top, read the Key figures: Active events, Clients, Overdue tasks and Expected margin.
- The Today section lists your alerts: tasks overdue or due today, vendor quotes to review, guests who haven't replied yet as an event gets close, unread conversations. Click an alert to open the related screen (the event, its guests, your Requests or Messages).
- Only the first alerts are shown; the "and N more alerts" line tells you how many remain.
- The Your clients section shows one card per active event, the soonest first: client and event type, countdown (D-N), task progress, Next deadline and, if you have set billed prices, the expected margin. Click a card to open the event.
- To start a new job, click New client (their card opens once saved) or New event, which takes you to your events.
Frequently asked questions
What is an active event? An event that is neither cancelled nor done, and whose date hasn't passed. An event without a date counts as active.
How is the expected margin calculated? It is the difference between the prices billed to the client and the costs of the tasks, across your active events. It only shows once at least one billed price is set; if your events use several currencies, one margin is shown per currency.
When do guests without a reply become an alert? From fifteen days before the event, as long as some guests haven't answered their invitation.
Why doesn't a task show up as a deadline? Only dated tasks are taken into account. Give the task a date from the event; otherwise the card shows "no dated task".
